バカラルール News & Update

Participation in the "バカラルール National Conference" held in Butuan City in the Philippines

We participated in the "バカラルール National Conference" held in Butuan City in Mindanao Island in the Philippines on the 6th and 7th of February. At this conference, we made a presentation about the case study on regional development CSV project (Butuan CSV project) that we have been promoting since 2011 in the Caraga region, mainly in Butuan City.

This conference was バカラルール-organized by Butuan City and Toyo University's Asia Public-Private Partnership Institute. At the first day and until 10am on the next day, it consisted of presentations and inspection of the project site that we are promoting. Members from Toyo University and two officials from the PPP promotion agency of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) participated in the inspection of the Butuan CSV project site.

UNECE is advocating and promoting the "People First バカラルール" based on a new approach that focuses on "People" and considered as a バカラルール that can contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. Previously, the Butuan CSV project was selected by UNECE as one of the best practices for People First バカラルール in 2017. Through the presentation of our case study and the site visit that has been done, the UNECE officials again reiterated that the Butuan CSV project is a good example project that is in-line with the People First バカラルール approach and that they would like to widely spread it to the world in the future.

We will continue to promote Butuan バカラルール project. From the idea of contributing to the SDGs, we would like to contribute to the regional and economic development in developing countries mainly Southeast Asian countries in cooperation with international organizations and educational institutions such as universities.
